The Land of Fire and Ice

Last month, I embarked on the trip of a lifetime - a self-guided tour in a 4x4 around Iceland. Though I had next to no idea what to expect, any expectation I could have formed was surely surpassed.

I saw the Northern Lights, walked on a glacier, saw the largest waterfall in Europe, felt the freezing North Atlantic with feet planted on a black sand beach, and saw more volcanoes, both active and extinct, than I could count.

Iceland was truly incredible.
